This smaller iron age axe is perfect for woodwork, reenactment, bushcraft, kindling or day to day tool. Based off of the original axe from Birka grave 865 (bj865), completely handforged from C45, monosteel construction.
Head weight is ~500 grams, the handle is 400 mm long, ash wood and treated with linseed, sheath is made from birch. Delivered sharpened, with handle and wooden sheath.
